I like to read the things my spam filter catches. I know, I'm moronic. But today I ran across one so interesting and relatively subtle that I don't regret it for a second. It has a plot! Reproduced here:

I just got a spam with a spectacular subject line:

From: Byron Nguyen
To: Kenny George
Subject: Girls will hunt you in the streets!

(Text: Start training your soldier of love now!)

I like to think this was actually misdirected email from some kind of alternate dystopia where it's not euphemistic, but literal.

This morning's email contained an excellent specimen of spam. The complete version is under the cut below, but here's an excerpt of the best part.

On the one hand it's great to be able to share what God has been doing
around us and how he's calling us to join him in that work.

He was due last Tuesday or Wednesday so he can't be too far off yet.

I got this spam yesterday and I just have to post it. It's almost poetic.
